Scouts
The 32 boys and girls that currently make up the Scouts troop at 1st Hedgecourt are encouraged to work together and be more independent. From running games in weekly meetings, to building bivouacs on camp.
Our Scout troop is divided into Patrols, each of which is headed up by an older Scout as Patrol Leader.
Working towards Activity Badges enables our young people to progress in existing pursuits as well as to try new things and form new interests. Challenge Awards recognise achievement in a range of more ambitious tasks, including Creative, Expedition, Adventure and Teamwork.
